A common or garden mistake on the telephone becomes a wonderful twist of fate: he likes the personality of the invisible woman on the other end of the line. She is captivated by his sense of humour and charming voice. As a result, they end up calling each other back, building up their hopes about each other, fantasising and clinging to this telephone relationship as their last chance to find that elusive love.

This moving comedy, written by Sophie Forte, presents two people who become truly great by virtue of their restrained emotions, unacceptable differences and unrequited desires and who are so inept at being happy that they are comical, vulnerable, adorable and funny.

"The tone is joyful, the dialogues are lively and their distress is amusingly concealed behind voices intent on seduction: this is a theatrical slice of life with its attendant complications of truths, lies and proprieties and Sophie Forte's writing gives the heady sensation that things could be better and that there is a universal sense of kinship behind the superficial laughter, even if there are some doors which will always remain closed". Anne BOURGEOIS, metteur en scène.

Press reviews:

«  A refreshing and irresistibly funny play. It veers between surprise, laughter and tenderness and is very skilfully directed. » Pariscope

«  Sophie Forte likes to undermine our certainties by combining blackness with laughter. She is also a sparkling actress, forming a intriguing and also appealing partnership with Philippe Sivy. » Télérama

«  A genuine situation, strong characters and well-handled suspense. A funny and very touching romantic comedy.  » Armelle Héliot, Figaro.fr

«  Beneath the honeysweet surface lies bitterness, behind the laughter lies a philosophical fable giving pause for thought. Sophie Forte is a Cartesian diver, offering us a charming and deep performance.  » Le Parisien
