StopGAP is a dance company with a difference. The dancers present an evening of dance by a selection of international choreographers. Portfolio Collection is a dance banquet of serene chaos, sinister loveliness and shocking beauty.
Prepare for a raw, rugged duet charged with tension from Hofesh Shechter, a stark, rock infested descent into unraveled reality by Nathalie Pernette (France), a provocative powerful duet by Gary Clarke, and Rob Tannion (Stan Won't Dance) on the quest for love, where the innocent are corrupted and the pure is plastic, revealing with humour the dark dirty underside of unrequited lust.
StopGAP comprises five professional charismatic dancers with and without disabilities who showcase strong dance technique injected with a healthy dose of humour. With music ranging from Tarantino-like sounds to Spanish music, rich lighting and costumes, this is outstanding, thrilling and dramatic entertainment not to be missed.
