Balancing on the tightrope of communication, Joël Chalude, tightrope-walker-actor-mime-dancer-choreographer-writer-director, tells us, through several sketches, of his life, setbacks, wild confrontations, and his quaint encounters in the jungle of the hearing. Tackling his disability with a staunch sense of humour and derision, the winner of the Ecole Internationale du Mime Marceau first prize has distanced himself above all from dramatic approaches, to prove that "the deaf community is happy, lively and dynamic in a depressed society".
"Joël Chalude gives his all on the stage because he has received a lot. We want more!" - Le Dauphiné Libéré.
"A play that is in turn resolutely funny and often packed with feelings" . Oise Hebdo
"Come then to get your good conscience flogged and leave with a healthy dose of laughter". Jean Christophe Besset.
