Enfant Lune (moon child) blows bubbles. Big pretty pearly bubbles floating in the atmosphere. Some burst when they touch the stars. Some float until they reach our planet and land everywhere.
One day, Enfant Lune blows a bubble which lands on an earth baby and surrounds it in silence. Its parents, a King and a Queen, are devastated when they realise that their baby can't hear or speak. Then a bird from the moon teaches the young prince how to use his hands and his eyes to communicate in another way...

In L'Enfant Lune , young members of the audience watch the story unfold of a baby born in a pearly bubble surrounding him with silence. Through this happy and poetic play, the actors take us to another world, where people communicate above all with gestures and looks.
A whirl of puppets and masks, on-stage music, mimes, songs, dance, French sign language, British sign language.many surprises afford a time of softness and wonder to young and old alike. The play raises public awareness of disabilities and the richness of our differences.

In addition to the play, we are putting on two artistic expression workshops, one on masks and another on puppets. These fun and sensory workshops run by Hayli Clifton raise awareness of differences and awaken the senses. Duration 30mn .
