THE CREDIT COOPÉRATIF FOUNDATION AND ORPHÉE
A new angle
For disabled people, citizenship means full and complete participation in every aspect of society; one significant illustration of this belief is the vital support the Foundation is bringing to the Orphée Festival.
The Credit Coopératif Foundation's decision to become involved in the "adventure" of the creation and realization of the Orphée Festival together with ADAPEI and the Sauvegarde des Yvelines owes nothing to chance. This support constitutes an essential partnership and a strong symbol of the Foundation's commitment to disabled people's full participation in society through involvement in the arts; a natural choice when one remembers that in France, the Credit Coopératif Group is the major banking partner both of the cultural sector and of organizations and support groups for disabled people.
Since 2003, Orphée has been bringing to light exceptional performers from throughout Europe, whose disability is in itself a source of artistic expression of great force and originality.
Giving these artists a chance to show off their talent and their professionalism and encouraging people to see things in a different light: these are the objectives of ORPHÉE, Europe's first "Theatre and Disability" festival.
Follow the example of the several thousands of people who have attended this Festival in previous years and made it such a success: discover these artists in their own right for the first time, or see them again, applaud their performance and understand that their very difference is a source of mutual enrichment.
The Crédit Coopératif Foundation is honoured to be involved in the joint production of this Festival. This event has already become an established part of France's cultural landscape and its European and international scope is being extended year on year, thanks to its quality and professionalism.
The Festival is an open invitation to all, designed to encourage people to emerge from the wings and become active players in a more fraternal society.
We leave it in your hands to ensure that the ORPHÉE Festival becomes a not-to-be-missed event.
We wish you all an excellent evening. Pour en savoir plus ...
